In 1988 I joined the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. After completing a Bachelor of Philosophy at Dharmaram College, Bangalore and Bachelor of Theology at Kristu Jyothi College, Bangalore, I was Ordained as a priest on January 16th, 1996. After my ordination I was sent to our different communities to give instructions to our students in formation.
In September, 1996 I was sent to Rome and later on in that year I was sent to our community in Naples to learn the Italian language and help with the work of the community. In 1997 I commenced my Masters on Spirituality at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome and completed this study in 1999. Alongside my studies, between 1998 and 1999, I worked as Parochial Vicar of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Latina, Italy.
In 1999 when I finished my Masters, I was sent as Rector to our house of formation in Bangalore, India. During my stay in Bangalore I also became very involved in working with a community for the aged where I helped them in their pastoral and spiritual works. In 2002, after completing my three years term as the Rector of the community in Bangalore, India, I returned to Italy where I was appointed as the master of formation in our minor seminary in Naples. During that time I was responsible for the spiritual direction of the students and I also got involved in pastoral activities in the local Parish community.
In 2003 I was sent to the Philippines to widen my experience of mission and while I was there I began my studies for my Doctorate. Since my thesis was based on the Spiritual Life of our Founder Saint Gaetano Errico I came back to Rome in 2004 to do research on this topic and continued my studies in Teresianum, the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Rome.
In 2008 I completed my Doctorate in Theology with a specialization in spiritual theology. On completing my Doctorate, I went to the UK and spent one year in Swansea. During that time I became acquainted with the special needs of the Church in Wales. In May 2009, at the request of our Fr. General, I returned to Italy and helped Fr. General in the daily activities of the community.
In September 2010 I was sent to United States of America. In June, 2011 I was appointed as the Pastor of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Bonneauville, Gettysburg, PA. and as the Chaplin of Catholic Campus Ministry at Gettysburg College by the late Bishop of Harrisburg, Most Rev. Joseph McFadden.
In 2014, from April to May, I took care of the pastoral needs of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and served as the campus minister at Shippensburg University. In June 2014 I was appointed as the Pastor at Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish in Waynesboro, PA. by Most Rev. Ronald Gainer, Bishop of Harrisburg.
In 2017 I came to Owensboro Diocese and helped out in different parishes until 2018. In 2018 I was appointed as the pastor of Saint William and Saint Lawrence Parish in Philpot by Most Rev. William Medley, Bishop of Owensboro Diocese. In June 2021 Most Rev. William Medley, has appointed me as the pastor of Saint Mary Magdalene at Sorgho. I thank God for giving me this opportunity to serve this wonderful Family of Families.
